Now...Light slight rain and patchy fog will persist through late morning across areas from kissimmee to cape canaveral northwards as a frontal boundary sags southwards into central Florida. Further south...Partly to mostly cloudy skies will continue with an isolated shower or two possible by late morning. The east coast sea breeze is expected to develop by late morning into early afternoon and will provide a focus for any convective activity later today. Isolated thunderstorms will be possible this afternoon as the front sags further south along with several weak upper level impulses moving across the peninsula. Any thunderstorms that develop will be capable of producing gusty winds up to 40 mph and occasional cloud to ground lightning strikes. In addition...A 1200 acre brush fire is burning west of clermont this morning leading to low visibilities in smoke across the local roadways.
