Now...At 715 pm edt...National weather service radar indicated scattered showers and thunderstorms south of a west point...To barnesville...To eatonton line. Some of the heavier thunderstorms were located over portions of harris...Wilcox...And crisp counties. Movement is to the east at 10 mph. Through 815 pm edt...Frequent cloud to ground lightning and gusty winds can be expected with the stronger thunderstorms. Rainfall amounts will generally be one half to one inch...But locally heavier amounts are possible. Motorists should slow down and use caution due to wet roadways and reduced visibilities.
