Now...A large area of steady light snow is falling over the southern twin city metro area...And down to mankato...Fairmont...Albert lea...And the Iowa border. The snow is moving into western Wisconsin...East and south of the twin cities. The trailing edge is located from around worthington in southwest Minnesota...To new ulm in south central...To the southern twin city metro...Over to rice lake Wisconsin. Visibilities are reduced over south central and southeast Minnesota and western Wisconsin. Snow fall amounts have been widespread half inch with up to a couple inches near the Iowa border...Between sioux falls and albert LEA and rochester...To a trace or a few tenths inch near watertown to the northern twin city metro. Snow is slowly ending over Minnesota...A widespread total of a half inch to an inch of new snowfall is possible over southeast Minnesota and parts of western by the end of the evening.
