Now...Through 1 am cdt...Scattered showers and thunderstorms will move east across southwestern Nebraska. The heaviest thunderstorms with heavy rainfall with amounts near 1 inch will be from north platte east through maxwell and brady. This will cause some ponding of water in ditches and on roadways. Showers and thunderstorms also will remain scattered south of interstate 80. Winds will gust to 35 during periods of heavy rainfall.
