Now...Scattered showers and thunderstorms will continue to move into the mid south affecting northeast Arkansas and northwest Tennessee and the northeastern sections of the Missouri bootheel. Isolated showers and storms are popping up over the rest of west Tennessee and north Mississippi. Rainfall amounts will be light with the showers...Generally under a tenth of an inch. In storms around a quarter to half inch or more. Storms will also contain frequent lightning and possibly small hail. An east to southeast movement is occurring with the showers and storms. The storms with the most rain and lightning and small hail are over northern pemiscott county in Missouri and over madison county Tennessee and alcorn..Tishomingo and prentiss counties in northeast Mississippi.
