Now...Through 6 am...Two bands of virga showers will push northeastward across the extreme southern Texas panhandle and rolling plains. The heavier of the two bands is currently positioned on a quitaque to matador line...While the second and less intense is on a memphis to paducah to guthrie line. This activity will produce wind gusts up to 50 mph and occasional lightning strikes.
