This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for north Alabama and portions of
southern middle Tennessee.
Patchy dense fog will be again possible overnight, with visibilities
lowering below one mile at times.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday...
Locally heavy rainfall will be possible from Tuesday through
Wednesday, as a storm system lifts northeastward into the region.
Total rainfall amounts will be around two to three inches, with
localized higher amounts possible. This may translate into some minor
flooding on roads and in lying areas through Wednesday.
Scattered thunderstorms are also possible Tuesday afternoon through
midday Wednesday. A few strong storms will be possible, mainly
Tuesday night into Wednesday morning, with the capability of
producing brief wind gusts near 50 MPH.
Another round of locally heavy rainfall and perhaps a few
thunderstorms are possible Friday and Friday night, as a strong cold
front approaches from the west. Minor flooding issues could again be
possible into Friday night.
