...HIGH RISK OF RIP CURRENTS FOR THE ATLANITC BEACHES... ...HAZARDOUS MARINE CONDITIONS ATLANTIC WATERS OFF PALM BEACH COUNTY... This hazardous weather outlook is for South Florida. .DAY ONE...TONIGHT Rip currents: There is High Risk of rip currents for all the Atlanitc coastal areas of South Florida. Thunderstorms: There is a slight chance of thunderstorms this evening, mainly in the interior and along the Gulf coast. The main hazard is lightning. Waves: Northeast swells of 5 to 8 feet will generate seas of 6 to 8 feet in Palm Beach Waters today into tonight. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY Long period northeast swells from distant Post-Tropical Cyclone Jose and Hurricane Maria will continue to lead to an enhancement of rip currents along all Atlantic beaches for most of this week. Also, Atlantic coastal areas of South Florida may see high surf as early as Monday morning, which may also lead to some beach erosion, especially in Palm Beach County. Marine hazardous conditions will continue to spread southward along the Atlantic waters early this week due to the long period of northeast swells. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
