Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin.
.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight
Rain and thunderstorms are expected today and tonight. Some of
the storms may be strong or severe with hail up to 1 inch in
diameter, brief gusty winds, and frequent cloud-to-ground
lightning possible. The storms will also bring heavy rainfall to
portions of the Northland, especially areas south of Minnesota

amounts through tonight of 1 to 2 inches are likely, and some
areas may pick up more than 2 inches. The heavy rainfall will lead
to ponding of water in low-lying areas. Flash flooding is also a
possibility, especially from Pine City to Hayward WI to Mercer and
locations farther south.
Strong northeast winds will increase the threat of rip currents
today, mainly in the Duluth entry affecting the Park Point Beach
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

best chance for precipitation will be from Friday into Saturday
