Iowa...west central Iowa...east central Nebraska...northeast
Nebraska and southeast Nebraska.
.DAY ONE...Tonight and Thursday
A slow-moving storm system will continue to bring a threat of locally
heavy rain to parts of the area tonight. A flash flood watch
remains in effect for a small part of northeast Nebraska and
west central Iowa, where an additional 1 to 2 inches of rain
Additionally, river flooding is expected along the Missouri river
from from Nebraska City downstream to Rulo.
Isolated thunderstorms are possible tonight across the area, but
severe storms are not expected.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday night through Wednesday
Thunderstorm chances continue Thursday night. The chance of more
thunderstorms chances return to the area Saturday through Tuesday
of next week.
Minor river flooding will be possible along the Missouri River
from Plattsmouth downstream to Rulo for the next several days.
Moderate flooding is also forecast along the North Fork of of the
Elkhorn River through Friday.
