Extreme Flooding Risk. Elevated Fog Risk. Elevated Ice Accumulation Risk. DISCUSSION: Periods of rain will continue across the area tonight. The heaviest rain and chances for additional thunderstorms will mainly be southeast of I-57. Runoff from this rainfall will continue to cause flooding, and significant sharp rises on most area rivers and creeks. A cold front will move across the area this evening, and rain is expected to change over to a period of freezing rain and sleet before ending overnight.
