The river will fall below flood stage by Sunday afternoon. * At 10.0 feet...Every Bartholomew county road that approaches or crosses the East Fork White River including Southern Crossing is affected by flood waters. County Road 800 S is extensively flooded in southern Bartholomew County. Mill Race Park in Columbus is extensively flooded. This hazardous weather outlook is for central Indiana. .DAY ONE...Tonight. Outlook: Localized flooding is possible. Hazards: Flooding of low lying areas. Timing: Rain will continue tonight and become a little heavier near and after midnight. Flooding may be ongoing in some areas. Discussion: A weak weather system will continue to spread rain across the colder air that settled into the area Wednesday. Moderate rainfall will occur at times late tonight. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Wednesday. Outlook: Rains end Thursday morning but another round of heavy rain will occur late Thursday night into mid day Friday. One more round of heavy rain is expected Saturday night before a couple dry days early next week. More rain will return next Wednesday. Flooding, possibly significant flooding, could develop as a result of this rainfall. Thunderstorms are possible Friday night through Sunday morning. No severe storms are expected at this time. Discussion: A slow moving front will interact with warm and moist air from the Gulf of Mexico to bring rain to central Indiana. The rain could be heavy at times with an additional 2 to 5 inches possible in spots by late weekend.
