This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of southwest Lower Michigan. .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight Flooding continues to be a significant issue with many roads (as of midnight) still closed in most of the counties in this area. Water levels continue to recede slowly but remain high enough yet to be a significant travel problem. Freezing rain, sleet are expected late tonight but for the most part this is more likely near and north of Route 10. Precipitation amounts are expected to be light, still any ice could create travel issues. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday River levels are expected to remain high into the weekend as the precipitation routes it way down area rivers. The area of freezing rain will quickly lift out of the area by mid morning Friday. Ice accumulations will be mostly less than a tenth of an inch. This may impact the morning commute over our northern areas. Another system will move through the area Saturday night into Sunday morning. That will bring mostly rain but we could see freezing rain north and east of Grand Rapids early Sunday morning. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotter activation will not be needed.
