This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northwestern Connecticut,
western Massachusetts, east central New York, and southern Vermont.
.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.
Low pressure moving north from the mid-Atlantic states to central
New York will produce periods of rain Saturday night with localized
heavy rain possible. LocaLized urban and poor drainage flooding will
be possible late Saturday night especially over higher terrain,
however widespread flooding is not expected. In addition, stronger
wind gusts will be possible across the higher terrain of the
Catskills, Taconics, Berkshires, southern Greens and northwest hills
of Connecticut overnight.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.
There is a chance of thunderstorms Monday through Thursday.
Thunderstorms may contain locally heavy rainfall, with a very humid
air mass in place.

are encouraged to relay rainfall reports and any flooding to the
National Weather Service.
