This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northern New York, central
Vermont, northeast Vermont, northwest Vermont and southern Vermont.
.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.
Several rounds of showers and thunderstorms are expected today into
tonight with localized heavy rainfall possible. No main stem river
flooding is expected, however localized high rainfall rates may lead
to isolated flash flooding in mountainous terrain and in urban areas
with poor drainages.
In addition, a few strong thunderstorms are possible over central
and southern Vermont this afternoon and evening. The primary threats
will be wind gusts up to 50 mph and dangerous cloud-to-ground
