This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for north-central and northeast
.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight
Hazardous travel conditions are expected to develop late this
morning to early this afternoon as wintry precipitation
overspreads the area. 1 to 3 inches of snow is possible over
north-central Wisconsin by early this evening. The rest of the
region will see a mix of freezing rain, sleet, and some rain this
afternoon. Mainly freezing rain and freezing drizzle is expected
tonight. The snow and ice will lead to deteriorating road
conditions this afternoon into tonight.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday
Hazardous travel conditions will continue into early Tuesday
evening as a result of a wintry mix of freezing rain, freezing
drizzle, with some sleet and snow over north-central Wisconsin.
Some improvement is possible over eastern Wisconsin on Tuesday
afternoon as temperatures rise above freezing and precipitation
changes to rain and drizzle.
The chance of snow returns on Thursday afternoon into Friday
morning and also at times over this weekend, which could lead to
hazardous travel conditions.
